Ashlar Psychotherapy

My path to becoming a therapist has been anything but traditional.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in law enforcement and healthcare, as a police officer and registered nurse. That experience continues to inform the way I show up in the therapy room today.

I believe in the power of understanding our stories and the possibility of lasting change. Meaningful growth occurs within the context of a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, curiosity, and thoughtful dialogue.

Our Approach

Why Choose Ashlar?

While practical tools can be helpful, meaningful change often unfolds through reflection, insight, and the experience of being deeply understood. Therapy offers an opportunity not only to reduce distress but to cultivate greater awareness, resilience, and a more authentic relationship with oneself.

My approach is informed by depth psychology, psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices. Together, we explore not only what is happening in your life, but why.
